The Assam School Education Department is going to conduct a special Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) for recruitment of teachers for Sanskrit & Hindi subject. Assam TET Exam 2016 Syllabus

There will be a written exam for selection of teacher for both subjects. Written exam pattern of ATET 2016 is given by Assam school education department. Assam TET 2016 Exam Pattern

There are total 1618 Graduate Teachers vacant posts in the state for both subjects. Out of these posts, approximately 1031 posts for Hindi Graduate Teachers and 587 vacancies for Sanskrit Graduate Teachers.

Written examination of Assam special Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) 2016 will have only a single paper. It will consist of 100 Multiple Choice questions (MCQ) of 100 marks. Hence each (MCQs) Questions carrying one mark. The paper will carry mainly two sections-

  • General Studies & Current Affairs: 50 MCQs ( 50 marks)
  • Subject Related(Hindi/Sanskrit): 50 MCQs   ( 50 marks)
  • Total Marks 100

There is a sectional cutoff in ATET special teacher recruitment test 2016. It means candidates have to qualify both the sections individually to pass the ATET exam 2016.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Assam TET 2016 Exam

There is a minimum qualifying marks for passing ATET Exam: To pass Assam special Teacher Eligibility Test Examination all the candidate have to get at least 60% marks in the written paper. Candidates belonging to reserved categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD will get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks. As per the response of candidate, a large number of application forms are to be received for Assam govt. teacher recruitment 2016. But a maximum of double the number of vacancies of Teachers will be declared qualified in the Assam TET exam 2016.These candidates will be decided by merit position according to their marks in ATET special teacher test 2016.

All candidates who clear the Assam special TET Exam 2016 for Hindi & Sanskrit will be given a passing certificate. This passing certificate will remain valid for five years from the certificate issue date by the Empowered Committee, Government of Assam.
