There will be two papers in Delhi Police Sub Inspector, CAPF, ASI in CISF Exam 2016. Both papers will carry Objective Multiple Choice (MCQ) Type Questions. There is negative marking scheme in Delhi Police SI recruitment Exam 2016. It means 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked by candidate on OMR Answer Sheet. Candidates first have to appear for pre paper i.e. Paper 1 on 20-3-2016. There is a minimum qualifying marks standards in each section of Paper I. Candidate have to score above this minimum cutoff marks to pass paper 1. This cutoff will be decided by staff selection commission on the basis of number of candidates appearing in exam & number of vacancies for a particular category. Cutoff marks may be different for each category candidates.

SSC Delhi Police SI, CAPF & CISF ASI Exam 2016
Candidates those score above the cut off marks decided by the Commission in Paper 1 will be called for Physical endurance test (PET) & physical standard test (PST). It is a qualifying nature test. After this coming the Medical examination. Only candidates those are medically fit will go to the next stage testing. Candidates those pass these physical tests & declared medically fit, will appear for next stage testing i.e. Paper 2. Candidates those qualify this paper will become eligible for the selection. Final selection will be on the basis of shortlisted merit list. Candidates will be arranged in the merit list on the basis of their total marks obtained in Paper- 1& 2 written examination. Candidates will be selected for the training course & later for appointment by the Commission on the basis of Written Examination marks only.
Important Notes for Candidates Appearing for Delhi Police SI Exam 2016
- The Staff selection Commission may conduct paper 1 or paper 2 Examination either offline or online (computer based). Candidates will get information regarding this well in time before examination.
- All the questions in Parts A, B and C of Paper 1 will be printed in Hindi and English language.
- PET (Physical Endurance Test) will not carry any marks.
- There will not be any kind of interview process after 2nd PaperJ.
Medical Review Board for Medical Unfit Candidates
Candidates, who are found to be unfit in the medical examination, will be informed regarding this with complete details. Such candidates can appeal for Review Medical Board within 15 days of medical examination. Decision of Re-Medical Board / Review Medical Board will be final. No further appeal against this decision will be entertained.

General Intelligence & Reasoning:This section will contain question related to verbal and nonverbal reasoning , judgment, problem solving, analysis ,decision making, relationship concepts, visual memory, discrimination, , coding and decoding, observation, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series arithmetical reasoning etc.
General Awareness: It will contain questions on current events of national & international level. This part of paper will also include questions relating to Indian History, Geography, Culture, Indian Constitution, Economic Scene, General Polity, scientific Research, India and its neighboring countries etc
Quantitative Aptitude: Here you will see questions on simple topics i.e. Discount ,decimals, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Graphs of Linear Equations, Square roots, Interest, Profit & Loss, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time & work, Time and distance, Basic algebraic identities , Triangle and Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle , angles subtended by chords of a circle & Trigonometry etc.
English Comprehension: Here candidates have to show his basic comprehension and writing skills in the paper.

This paper is here mainly to test candidate’s knowledge & understanding of English Language. It will carry question types such as error detection, filling in the blanks i.e. verbs, articles ,preposition, etc), Spellings, Vocabulary, use of Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, ordering of sentence , Idiom & Phrases ,comprehension etc.
